- Hot, damned hot May - September. Must have PSD/BSD (Personal Shade Device/Boat Shade Device).

- Easy (but long) shuttle - not so hard on shuttle equipment.

- Extra difficult rapids 231-232

- Avoids objectionable, gnat infested ravine take-out.

- Tour helicopters by the dozens - Noise! Objectionable.

- Limited casual boating March - April, ie: wind may be delay in afternoons.
